HFEM Submission System

Advancing the science and practice of human factors and ergonomics through a cleaner, more accessible digital submission experience.

About the HFEM Submission System

The HFEM (Human Factors & Ergonomics Malaysia) Submission System is a centralized platform for multiple HFEM journals and conference tracks. It streamlines manuscript and proceedings submission, peer review, and editorial decisions-supporting authors, reviewers, editors, and program chairs in one place.

With a single account, users can register as Author and/or Reviewer. Authors manage manuscripts, co-authors, revisions, and track real-time decisions. Reviewers can bid for papers, provide double-blind evaluations, and receive acknowledgements of service. Editors and conference chairs can assign reviewers, set deadlines, and generate reports to ensure a timely and transparent workflow aligned with HFEM standards.

  • Multi-journal & conference support - one platform for all HFEM outlets.
  • Unified account - act as Author, Reviewer, or both with role-based access.
  • Structured submissions - metadata, templates, versioning, and checks.
  • Peer review management - reviewer assignments, reminders, and decisions.
  • Compliance & ethics - COPE-aligned processes and audit trails.
  • Notifications & tracking - real-time status, alerts, and dashboards.

Submit to HFEM Journals & Conferences

The HFEM Submission System welcomes manuscripts and conference papers across journals, tracks, and special issues, supporting the dissemination of cutting-edge research in human factors, ergonomics, and related fields.

We invite contributions that advance both theory and practice. Areas of interest include:

  • Human-computer interaction and digital ergonomics.
  • Workplace design, safety, and well-being in modern environments.
  • Artificial intelligence, automation, and their impact on ergonomics.
  • Cognitive load, usability evaluation, and performance assessment.
  • Innovative product design, healthcare ergonomics, and rehabilitation systems.
  • Sustainable and human-centered approaches in technology and design.

Submissions may include original research, reviews, case studies, or theoretical contributions. Each undergoes a structured peer review process managed through the HFEM platform, ensuring academic integrity and practical relevance.

Be part of the global conversation in ergonomics and human factors. Register as an Author or Reviewer, explore current calls for papers, and submit your work through our secure portal.

Visit the HFEM submission page for account registration, guidelines, and deadlines.
